ICon Arts Ireland is a Romanian–Irish cultural partnership founded by cellist Adrian Mantu, composer Diana Gheorghiu and cultural manager Sebastian Gheorghiu.
The partnership was created as a platform for artistic cooperation, bringing together performers, composers and cultural organisations from Romania and Ireland in joint projects, concerts and educational initiatives, capitalising on the founders’ combined artistic and managerial experience to create the best possible framework in support of international artistic collaboration.
We encourage international artistic collaboration, promote contemporary music and support cultural dialogue between Romania and Ireland.
To facilitate creative partnerships between Romanian and Irish artists
To promote contemporary composers and performers internationally
To engage new and diverse audiences
To develop sustainable cultural projects with long-term impact
